What a day! Beautiful weather, smiling faces, great company, and goals reached. Families have traveled from afar joining to celebrate in our quaint little town of Flat Rock. August 12th, 2016 marked the completion of a long journey and the beginning of a new adventure for 7 of our young women here at Lake House Academy.
Join me as we congratulate our lovely 7 students as they have completed our program. As several of our graduates shared in their speeches, it was a difficult road filled with many obstacles and struggles but this journey has made them stronger and wiser, ready to take on the world. One of our graduates shared her experience saying, “there were two paths to follow. One path was I’m going to do everything in my power to heal and graduate and the other path was the I don’t care and whatever path, I chose the path of healing.”
