Our lakefront school provides students with a home-like environment and an optimal setting for healing and learning. Our priority is creating a nurturing and safe setting where students can build the skills necessary for reestablishing connections and creating healthy relationships. By modeling self- and co-regulation techniques, we help our students feel supported and confident, which is integral for their growth and development at Lake House.

Inspiring a Lifetime of Hope, Resilience, and Confidence
Our staff is dedicated to ensuring that each child is treated with care, respect, and the loving attention they need and deserve as part of our intentional clinical framework.
At the center of every day at Lake House Academy is a focus on relationships. We know the middle school and early high school years are typically filled with activities, friends, and fun, but many Lake House students struggle to connect with safe relationships. These elements are integral to the healthy development and growth of our students, and we model and support each student's path toward building and maintaining positive relationships.
While at Lake House Academy, each student is part of their own residential cohort, which acts as a family unit. Each cohort is overseen by a residential manager, and cohorts intermix throughout the day during classes, recreational activities, and dining.
We refer to our residential staff as caregivers, and these dedicated mentors encourage self-efficacy and self-esteem through implementing relational therapy and using our CASA Model. In this way, and with the support of the students' families, we consistently reinforce the value of safe family interactions.
