Spring is in the air! After a challenging winter, students are happy to get outside to enjoy the spring weather! Last week saw teachers taking advantage of the weather by taking their classes outside. Math students sat on the dock at the edge of the water; Science classes began studying the ecosystems of the lake and surrounding area. And the youngest Social Studies girls, learned about “Holi”, a Hindu festival of colors and love. The girls fill the air and covered themselves with colored powders! They had ton of fun and enjoyed learning about different ways that people celebrate around the world!
We are quickly moving toward Spring Break and many visits with families during this important holiday time of Passover and Easter.
