I CAUGHT A FISH! Ker splash! 
Summer time is known for fun in the great outdoors. The Lake House girls are fortunate to be able to step right outside and access fun outdoor activities in our own back yard! Kyle Shepard, our Recreational Therapist loves introducing girls to activities that they may not have yet experienced. This summer, he taught canoeing, fishing and other fun water activities. Canoe lessons begin with learning what to do if a canoe tips over, thus teaching girls to keep themselves safe all this time having fun getting wet. In fishing, they learn to string the pole, bait hooks, cast and then, after much patience, shout with excitement as they or their friends reel in a fish!
